Booth rentals

You can apply for a booth throughout the entire year.

If you need to contact us during the festival week we have our offices in the city center or you can send us a mail at bodutleie@moldejazz.no. During the festival-week, we can also be reached by calling us at +47 948 29 939. Outside of the festival-week we can only be reached by e-mail.

Zones and prices
The town centre of Molde is organized in 2 different zones, depending on whether you want to hire a spot with a tent included or not. Green zone is locations with a pre-assembled tent, whilst the Yellow zone is spaces where you have to bring your own tent.

• Green Zone: All spaces in and directly connected to the main street (Storgata) and the town hall square (Rådhusplassen).
• 3x3 tent: 11000,- NOK
• 3x5 tent: 17000,- NOK

• Yellow Zone: All spaces in side streets – Fjordgata, Kirkebakken, Tårngata, Torget (the main square) and Havnegata.
• Cost per meter: 2500,- NOK

Electricity
If you're dependent on electricity you'll have to mention this in the application form, as well as pay a connection fee of NOK 1000,- + taxes. Electricity from us is to primarily be used for equipment that documents transactions. We remind you that there is certified equipment for these purposes that run on batteries. You will have to bring your own extension cord of sufficient length.

Payment
Rental costs (and electricity if applied for) will be billed before the festival starts. Tenants who don't pay their rental costs before the due date will lose their designated space.

Guards
There will be guards in the rental areas in the evening and at night. The goods and equipment left in the tents will still be the tenant's responsibility, as it is not possible for the guards to always have a full overview of all areas.

Tax rules
Moldejazz cooperate with the Norwegian Tax Authorities regarding booth rentals to secure good conditions. All tenants must verify that they comply with the regulations for money turnover in the application form. Confirmation is both preventive and binding. Everyone doing sales and creating an income from their business at Moldejazz must relate to the rules published by the tax directorate in Norway. • Tuesday–Saturday: 6-day permit 5000,- NOK
• Tuesday–Saturday: 5-day permit 4500,- NOK
• Wednesday–Saturday: 4-day permit 4000,- NOK
• Thursday–Saturday: 3-day permit 3500,- NOK
• Friday–Saturday: 2-day permit 3000,- NOK
• Saturday only: 1-day permit 2500,- NOK
• 1-day permits for other days 2000,- NOK

Street musicians
Moldejazz welcomes everyone who wants to contribute to the festive atmosphere of the festival. This includes street musicians and/or others that want to perform in the town centre of Molde. This, and CD sales are basically free of charge, but if you wish to sell other products in addition, the prices and regulations will be the same as for mobile sales permits. The following regulations apply to street musicians/ performers:

• There will be created so-called Performance Zones in different spaces in the main street (Storgata). Ask where you can set up if in doubt.
• If more than one artist wishes to use the same zone, the artists must split the time for performances.
• You can only play 30 minutes pr hour.
• The sound level can not exceed acoustic levels. This also applies if you use an amplifier.
• The use of playback is not permitted.
• Merchandise sale, except CDs, is not permitted without a special sales permit.

Product regulations
Moldejazz do not wish to rent booths to tenants who sell products that conflict with public regulations. By signing the contract you will be directed to links that give product information from the state pollution control authority in Norway. (Statens Forurensningstilsyn (SFT)) As a tenant, you are obliged to read and relate to these regulations.

Food services
Moldejazz administration handles all agreements regarding the sale of hot meals in the main street. Applications for sale of hot meals can be sent to restaurant@moldejazz.no.
